The SIC-Foundation is an independant company working with the development of social-economy.
The SIC-Foundation works from the following understanding of social-economy:
- There has to be a social goal in the work of the company
- There has to a plan for reinvestment of surplus/profits
- There has to be independence of government funds
The SIC-Foundation is working with the development of social-economy both nationally and internationally and we see social-economy as one of the ways in which the welfare states can be reconstructed to be aligned with the times of a globalised world.
We are always interested in meeting new partners with shared interest, to learn and exchange knowledge and experiences of how social-economy can help restructure the European welfare states in the face of globalisation.
